Q. How do you charge?
A. Our service call includes an estimate fee and a breakdown of our estimate for you. We base all of our prices off the Major Appliance Service National Price Guide. By using this guide, we ensure that our customers are get the most reasonably priced services possible.
Q. Can you provide us with an estimate (ball park figure) for the repair over the phone?
A. Because we value our customers , the most accurate diagnosis are done in the home.
Service call to the house is $95.00, after the diagnosis the technician will give a complete estimate.
Q. Why is it important for me to be home and answer the phone during my planned appointment time?
A. Our technicians will not be able to enter your home without a person being there during the appointment window. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you call as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule.
Q. What if I leave a check for the technicians and my minor children are home to let them in?
A. Before beginning any service, we need approval from the responsible party. Our technicians are not permitted to begin any repair services unless someone 18 years old or older is present.
Q. Will my appliance be fixed the same day?
A. Our Authorized Services Inc. truck is supplied with 95% of the basic repair parts that we need to fix all of the major brands. However, if we do not stock your part, we may need to order a new part specifically for your repair, depending on the repair.
Q. Will I be charged again if the technician has to return due to non-stocked parts?
A. Absolutely not!
Q. Why don’t you set specific appointments?
A. We give all of our customers' windows to allow our technicians enough time to travel from one repair location to another. We also don’t ever want to let down our customers with a specific time because we never know how long our prior appointments will take.
Q. If you need to order parts, do I need to pre-pay for the parts?
A. We do require half or whole of the part price. If the part is a special factory order, typically those parts can’t be returned, so the customer will need to pay for the part and shipping costs.
Q. Why doesn’t anybody want to repair our appliance because we bought the parts ourselves?
A. Sometimes, if you order a part that is defective our technicians will not be able to properly fix your appliance. If we order the part, it is guaranteed to work and it won’t cost much more than you ordering it yourself. However, if we do use your part, we are not responsible if we complete the repair and it still does not work.
